Founded in 2007 and based in Felgueiras, in the heart of Portugal’s footwear industry, 1 Hundred Shoes is a family-run footwear company built on generations of shoemaking knowledge.

From the first concept and material selection to sampling, industrialisation, production and final quality control, we work closely with our partners throughout every stage of the process, transforming ideas into footwear made with purpose, precision and attention to detail.
Our strong network of specialised manufacturers and component suppliers allows us to offer flexibility, reliability and access to some of the finest materials and footwear expertise in Portugal.

Behind every project at 1 Hundred Shoes, there are people who know it from the first conversation to the final product.
Fernando Leite and Marta Furtado represent two generations of the same family and are the faces our partners will meet throughout their journey with us. Combining decades of footwear knowledge with a contemporary approach to product development, they work side by side to turn each client’s vision into a product that is both technically sound and true to the brand behind it.
From the first ideas and material choices to sampling, production and final delivery, Fernando and Marta remain closely involved creating a direct, personal relationship between the client and the people responsible for bringing each project to life.
Because for us, the best partnerships are built the same way as the best shoes: with knowledge, trust and attention to every detail.

At 1 Hundred Shoes, every project starts with understanding the client, their brand, their market and what they want to create.
We work as an extension of our partners’ teams, combining generations of footwear knowledge with a flexible and hands-on approach to product development.
From initial concepts, materials and components to sampling, fitting, industrialisation and production, we coordinate each stage closely with our network of specialised Portuguese manufacturers and suppliers.
Quality is not simply a final inspection. It is something we follow throughout the entire process, with continuous communication, regular production monitoring and attention to the details that make each product unique.
